However, in doing so, Yorkshire-based recycling company ReWorked says that we’ve created a whole new waste-stream – one that could be detrimental to the health of our planet and local eco-systems.

THE INDIEPENDENT - This summer, Without Walls are set to bring Covid-safe outdoor performances to audiences across the UK with their main focus on areas most affected by the pandemic. They say that Covid restrictions, along with financial and social uncertainty, have made accessing live performances difficult for many over the past 14 months.

Make A Difference Trust To “Bow Out and Lower The Curtain”
THE INDIEPENDENT - It was announced on Thursday 3 June, that the Make A Difference Trust will close after nearly 15 years of providing help to those suffering with HIV and AIDS. The closure, they say, comes as a result of a lack of fundraising events due to the pandemic.

THE INDIEPENDENT - Musical tycoon Andrew Lloyd Webber has threatened to sue the UK government if theatres are unable to fully reopen on 21 June. The Daily Mail recently reported that the composer fears any delay to the fourth stage of the lockdown roadmap due to the recent spread of Covid could be the “final death blow” to the industry.
